About
Who We Are
We are a team of data scientists, engineers, and investigators committed to processing the Epstein document releases with the utmost clarity, scrutiny, and transparency.
Our Mission
The DOJ Epstein document releases contain millions of pages — court filings, FBI interviews, financial records, flight logs. The sheer volume is designed to overwhelm, and most of it stays buried because no single person could read it all.
We built The Epstein File Ranker to change that. Our AI investigative agent processes every page, scores documents for significance, flags names and financial connections, and surfaces leads that matter. The results feed into a public data viewer anyone can use, and we publish original investigations sourced directly from the files.
Our Approach
Every claim we publish is sourced. Every document we reference is linked. We believe investigative journalism should be verifiable, and we hold ourselves to that standard.
- AI-powered document analysis — Our agent reads text, layout, redactions, and handwritten notes the way a human would, scoring every document for investigative significance.
- Public data viewer — All scored documents are available in our open data viewer. Filter by significance, search by name, and drill into original DOJ files yourself.
- Community leads — Anyone can submit a lead, a question, or a claim to fact-check. Completely anonymous — no login, no tracking. We check it against the data and publish what we confirm.
- Original investigations — When something significant surfaces from AI analysis, our team, or the public, we dig in, verify against the processed files, follow the paper trail, and publish with full source citations.
Transparency
We are committed to making our process as transparent as possible. The tools we use are publicly available. Our scoring methodology is documented. Source documents are linked directly in every investigation so readers can verify our work independently.
If we get something wrong, we fix it. Our corrections process is public and includes clear response-time targets.
The Team
We are a group of data scientists and passionate individuals who believe these documents deserve serious, responsible analysis — not sensationalism. We leverage the best tools available to ensure that the information we surface is factual, contextualized, and presented with the care that the subject matter demands.
