Susan Hamblin's Epstein Files Place An Overlooked Aide In Trust, Island, and Support Records

One of the quieter Susan Hamblin documents is also the clearest. A Butterfly Trust page signed on March 24, 2011 says Darren Indyke and Richard Kahn, acting as trustees, "do hereby add Susan Hamblin as a beneficiary" under the trust. The same page shows receipt by Jeffrey Epstein as grantor that day. [1]

On its own, the page does not explain why Hamblin was added, what role she held, or whether she ever received money from the trust. But it places her inside a formal Epstein trust instrument rather than at the edge of the file trail. This is not a party invitation, a phone contact, or a stray scheduling reference. In a November 2014 email chain, Susan Hamblin wrote that a British card she had been using was blocked, that she had nothing in her Chase account because "my salary stopped," and that she had been left in the rain with no money. The same page references a Delta flight into West Palm Beach. The natural reading is travel management. Hamblin is relaying Epstein's instructions and helping organize arrivals. [4]

A July 18, 2013 chain is even narrower and more operational. Hamblin emailed Lesley Groff and Jojo Fontanilla: "Je told Julia to leave iPod on island. I presume he will use his phone." The message sits inside a forwarded chain where Epstein responds about an iPad that had been taken out of his bag on Little Saint James. The document does not explain why the device had to stay on the island. It does show Hamblin participating in instructions about where an Apple device should remain and what Epstein would use instead. [3]

A smaller February 14, 2018 email extends the paper trail beyond 2014. Hamblin thanked Karyna Shuliak and Lesley Groff in a chain saying Epstein wanted to treat them to Glam Squad hair and makeup as a Valentine's Day gift. That page is not evidence of wrongdoing.
